Booking a session

Booking a chemistry call or a block

1. Open the coach's profile from the coach directory.
2. In the booking panel, choose a chemistry call or a block. The chemistry call is at the top, under Get to know them first, and it's already selected if you haven't had one with that coach. The blocks are underneath. If you're signed in and already have sessions with that coach, Your sessions sits above both. If you're signed in and have already booked a chemistry call with them, it isn't offered again, as it's one per person, per coach: the panel says you've already booked it.
3. Pick a time. For a block, this is the time of your first session. Times are shown in your own time zone.
4. If you're not signed in, add your name and email address. We send your confirmation and joining link there, and your account is created for that address.
5. Continue to payment, and pay through Stripe's secure checkout.

We hold the time you picked for 20 minutes while you pay, whether it's a chemistry call or the first session of a block. If your payment goes through after that and someone else has taken the time, we refund a chemistry call in full, and a block keeps every session for you to book another time. If you leave the payment page without paying, nothing is taken and nothing is booked, so you can pick a time and try again whenever you're ready.

After you pay

You'll see a confirmation page, and we email you the details: the time, how to join, and a button to add the session to your calendar. For a block, the email is your receipt, with the number of sessions, the date to use them by, and your first session.

If nothing has arrived within an hour, check your spam folder, then email support@careering.com with the address you paid with. Please don't pay again until you've heard from us.

Booking the rest of your block

1. Sign in and go to Home or Sessions. The Sessions to book section shows each of your blocks, how many sessions are left, and the date to use them by.
2. Choose Book a session. This opens your coach's profile with your block already selected.
3. Pick a time and choose Book with a credit. There's nothing to pay.

We email you a confirmation, and the session appears in your Sessions page.

Reminders

We email you a reminder in the 24 hours before each session, with your joining link.

Can't find a time?

Coaches only show the times they're free, a little way ahead. If nothing suits, check back soon, or email support@careering.com and we'll ask your coach for you.
