Joining a session
Where to find your joining link, and what to do if there isn't one yet.
Finding your link
Your joining link is in three places:
- your confirmation email
- your reminder email, which arrives in the 24 hours before the session
- your account: the Join button on the Sessions page, and on your Home page for your next session
Sessions booked through Careering are online for now. The link is either your coach's own meeting room or a Google Meet link we create for the session. Either way, open it at the time of your session.
No link yet?
If your coach hasn't set a link, your confirmation says your coach will send you one before you meet, and your Sessions page shows "Link on the day".
If you still don't have a link shortly before your session, email support@careering.com and we'll chase it straight away.
In your calendar
Your confirmation email has an Add to calendar button unless you've subscribed to your Careering calendar, in which case the session is already there, and your Sessions page has one for each upcoming session. If a session moves and you've subscribed to your Careering calendar, the old time disappears on its own; otherwise delete the old entry and add the new one. Subscribe to your sessions
Before you start
Find somewhere quiet where you can talk freely, and check your camera and microphone a few minutes beforehand.
